John Glenn Little Muskies (New Concord, OH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH), 49-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, John Glenn upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Little Muskies host Coshocton (Coshocton, OH) to play the Redskins in a Muskingum Valley bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Redskins come into the bout with a record of 0-9. Coshocton lost 67-40 in their recent league bout against Philo (Duncan Falls, OH)

Next up, the Panthers play the West Muskingum Tornadoes (Zanesville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Licking Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Tornadoes come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 57-35 league loss to Sheridan (Thornville, OH).
