California High School Basketball - Justin Garza can't hold off Taft

The Taft Wildcats basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the host Justin Garza Guardians to 26 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redwood for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Taft will battle a Rangers team coming off a 59-45 non-league win over Centennial (Bakersfield, CA). The Rangers record now stands at 6-7.

The Guardians (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against El Diamante (Visalia, CA). The Miners come into the non-league contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, El Diamante edged Lemoore (Lemoore, CA), 67-36, in a non-league contest.
