The Westlake Demons basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Life Christian Academy Eagles to 17 in the Demons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Demons now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilbert Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Westlake will battle a Knights team coming off a 37-34 non-league win over Mulgrave (West Vancouver, British Columbia) (, MT). The Knights record now stands at 9-2.

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Annie Wright (Tacoma, WA). The Gators enter the 1A Nisqually contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Annie Wright triumphed over Kennedy Catholic (Burien, WA), 58-52, in a non-league contest.
