California High School Basketball - Marina thwarts Valley Christian

December 28, 2022: Huntington Beach, CA 92649

The Marina Vikings (Huntington Beach, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA), 48-31 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Vikings (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA). The Bruins go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Woodrow Wilson went down by Marlborough (Los Angeles, CA), 77-16, in a non-league test.

The Defenders now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to West Ranch for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Valley Christian will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-10.
