The Sundown Roughnecks topped the visiting Slidell Greyhounds basketball team by a final score of 58-45 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Roughnecks face the New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) in a 2A Region I District 5 game, on Tuesday, January 3. Sundown will attempt to move on its 15-4 season record.
With the defeat, Slidell moves to 16-3 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Andrews (Andrews, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, December 29. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 8-11.
