The Summit SkyHawks basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Yucaipa Thunderbirds to 44 in the SkyHawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The SkyHawks now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walnut for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Summit will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 55-49 non-league win over Highland (Palmdale, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-6.

The Thunderbirds (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Burroughs (Ridgecrest, CA). The Burros enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Burroughs nudged California (Whittier, CA), 57-33, in a non-league contest.
