Dixon Rams (Dixon, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Vallejo Red Hawks (Vallejo, CA), 24-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dixon upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Rams host Pioneer (Woodland, CA) to clash with the Patriots in a bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Pioneer lost 45-22 in their recent non-league bout against River Valley (Yuba City, CA)

Next up, the Red Hawks clash with the Armijo Royals (Fairfield, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Vallejo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 25-20 non-league win over Sacramento (Sacramento, CA).
