The Calvary Day School Cougars (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball nipped the host Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC), 35-28 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Landsharks go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Oceanside Collegiate Academy was tipped by Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC), 31-28, in a non-league test.
The Cyclones now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Military Magnet Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7.
