California High School Basketball - Leland can't hold off Summit Shasta

The Summit Shasta Black Bears basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Leland Chargers to 57 in the Black Bears non-league triumph on Wednesday.

In their next game, the Black Bears meet the Terra Nova Tigers (Pacifica, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 14. Summit Shasta will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record.

With the defeat, Leland moves to 2-2 on the year. The Chargers host Pioneer (San Jose, CA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, January 6. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-2. Pioneer won 52-41 in their recent non-league match against Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA)
