The Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) basketball crushed the host Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC), 63-26 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Timberwolves (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Franklin Academy walloped Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC), 50-45, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Willow Spring for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Richmond will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 68-67 non-league win over Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Storm record now stands at 7-4.
