South Carolina High School Basketball - Fairfield Central knocked off by Aiken

The Aiken Fighting Green Hornets basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Fairfield Central Griffins to 57 in the Fighting Green Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Fighting Green Hornets now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catawba Ridge for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Aiken will battle a Copperheads team coming off a 90-17 non-league win over Buford (Lancaster, SC). The Copperheads record now stands at 11-2.

The Griffins (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Buford (Lancaster, SC). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Buford was defeated by Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC), 90-17, in a non-league contest.
