The Byron Tigers (Byron, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL), 68-37 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers (10-0) will now prepare for their test against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Sherrard walloped East Moline United (East Moline, IL), 48-27, in a non-league test.
The Pioneers now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Quincy for a Western Big 6 test on Friday, January 5. Alleman will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 44-39 non-league loss to Collinsville (Collinsville, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 14-1.
