Granite Hills Cougars (Apple Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Arroyo Valley Hawks (San Bernardino, CA), 57-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Granite Hills upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Bloomington (Bloomington, CA) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Bloomington won 58-24 in their recent non-league bout against Pacific (San Bernardino, CA)

Next up, the Hawks play the Pacific Pirates (San Bernardino, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Arroyo Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 58-24 non-league loss to Bloomington (Bloomington, CA).
