The Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC) basketball knocked off the host Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC), 59-48 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lions (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Mount Tabor notched a victory over Asheville (Asheville, NC), 83-39, in a non-league test.
The Braves now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Asheville for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Cherokee will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 83-39 non-league loss to Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-6.
