The Atlee Raiders basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Midlothian Trojans to 57 in the Raiders league victory on Thursday.
The Raiders now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Powhatan for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Atlee will battle a Indians team coming off a 81-67 league loss to Huguenot (Richmond, VA). The Indians record now stands at 4-4.
The Trojans (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Deep Run was defeated by Gainesville (Gainesville, VA), 76-64, in a non-league contest.
