Texas High School Basketball - Austin succumbs to Fort Bend Clements

The Fort Bend Clements Rangers topped the visiting Austin Maroons basketball team by a final score of 53-35 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Rangers face the Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 29. Fort Bend Clements will attempt to move on its 15-0 season record. The Dragons enter the game with a 12-5 record after their 56-41 non-league win over Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX).

With the defeat, Austin moves to 6-9 on the year. The Maroons travel to Hutto (Hutto, TX) to face the Hippos in a non-league game on Friday, December 29. The Hippos enter the game with a record of 7-11. Hutto lost 57-41 in their recent non-league game against Clemens (Schertz, TX)
