Baraboo Thunderbirds (Baraboo, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Belleville Wildcats (Belleville, WI), 74-68 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Baraboo upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Edgewood (Madison, WI) to play the Crusaders in a Badger - Small bout on Thursday, January 4. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Edgewood lost 79-41 in their recent non-league bout against Arrowhead (Hartland, WI)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Lake Mills L-Cats (Lake Mills, WI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Belleville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The L-Cats go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 82-50 non-league win over Jefferson (Jefferson, WI).
