The Kenai Central Kardinals basketball team (Kenai, AK), was overwhelmed 72-33 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK)

The Whalers now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, December 29. Barrow will confront a Wolf Pack team coming off a 66-11 non-league win over Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 1-0.
