Washington High School Basketball - Bellevue Christian can't hold off Squalicum

The Squalicum Storm basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Bellevue Christian Vikings to 59 in the Storm non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Storm now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Vernon for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Tuesday, January 2. Squalicum will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 84-66 non-league win over Arlington (Arlington, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-2.

The Vikings (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Vashon Island (Vashon Island, WA). The Pirates enter the 1A Nisqually contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Vashon Island was nudged by Bush (Seattle, WA), 59-44, in a non-league contest.
