The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Archbishop Wood lost 79-77 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX) in a 4A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Silsbee will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 61-48 non-league win over East Chambers (Winnie, TX).
