The Life Oak Cliff Lions (Dallas, TX) basketball felled the visiting Bishop Dunne Falcons (Dallas, TX), 52-40 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lions (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Trinity Leadership (Cedar Hill, TX). The Tigers go into the 3A Region II District 9 test with a 9-14 record. In their last test, Trinity Leadership was beaten by Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX), 58-38, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Coram Deo Academy for a TAPPS 5A District 2 test on Friday, January 5. Bishop Dunne will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 76-36 non-league loss to Prince of Peace (Carrollton, TX). The Lions record now stands at 8-10.
