The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms basketball team scored 90 points and restricted the host Grand Meadow Superlarks to 48 in the Awesome Blossoms league victory on Thursday.
The Awesome Blossoms now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chatfield for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Blooming Prairie will battle a Gophers team coming off a 73-27 league loss to Lake City (Lake City, MN). The Gophers record now stands at 3-8.
The Superlarks (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hayfield (Hayfield, MN). The Vikings come into the A Section 1 contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Hayfield was routed by Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN), 69-36, in a league contest.
