With the victory, Sterling City upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Bartlett (Bartlett, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Bartlett won 46-26 in their recent league challenge against Milano (Milano, TX)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Lorenzo Hornets (Lorenzo, TX) in a 1A Region I District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Borden County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 50-45 non-league loss to Ropes (Ropesville, TX).
