The Borden Braves (Borden, IN) basketball crushed the visiting Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN), 62-25 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Braves (8-3) will now prepare for their test against New Washington (New Washington, IN). The Mustangs go into the Southern test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, New Washington was trounced by Salem (Salem, IN), 59-36, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Rushville for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Union County will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 38-36 non-league loss to Blackford (Hartford City, IN). The Lions record now stands at 1-9.
