The Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Hendrickson Hawks (Pflugerville, TX), 64-60 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Westlake (Austin, TX). The Chaparrals go into the 6A Region IV District 26 test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Westlake got by The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX), 46-35, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bastrop for a 5A Region III District 23 test on Wednesday, January 3. Hendrickson will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 74-34 league loss to Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX). The Bears record now stands at 4-12.
