The Midlothian Panthers basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Brewer Bears to 36 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wylie East for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Midlothian will meet a Raiders team coming off a 66-47 league loss to Wylie (Wylie, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 7-6.

The Bears (18-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kaufman (Kaufman, TX). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Kaufman nudged Kemp (Kemp, TX), 102-40, in a non-league contest.
