Pennsville Memorial Eagles (Pennsville, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Buena Chiefs (Buena, NJ), 73-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pennsville Memorial upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Schalick (Pittsgrove, NJ) to play the Cougars in a Tri-County - Diamond bout on Thursday, January 4. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Chiefs play the Oakcrest Falcons (Mays Landing, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Buena will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 74-50 non-league win over Cumberland (Seabrook, NJ).
