In their next game, the Sting face the MACCRAY Wolverines (Clara City, MN) in a A Section 3 game, on Friday, January 5. Yellow Medicine East will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record.

With the defeat, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart moves to 1-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Springfield (Springfield, MN) to face the Tigers in a A Section 2 game on Tuesday, January 2. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 2-4. Springfield lost 78-57 in their recent non-league game against Pipestone (Pipestone, MN)
