In Thursday's non-league outing, the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Buford Yellowjackets (Lancaster, SC), by a count of 90-17.

The Copperheads (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Fighting Green Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Aiken smashed Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC), 69-57, in a non-league outing.

The Yellowjackets now hold a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfield Central for a non-league outing on Friday, December 29. Buford will clash with a Griffins squad coming off a 69-57 non-league loss to Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Griffins record now stands at 1-10.
