California High School Basketball - Mercer Island topped by Calvary Chapel

The Calvary Chapel Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Mercer Island Islanders to 44 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Alamitos for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Calvary Chapel will battle a Griffins team coming off a 95-84 non-league win over Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Griffins record now stands at 12-3.

The Islanders (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Damonte Ranch was defeated by Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA), 95-84, in a non-league contest.
