    The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies basketball team (Elk Point, SD), was routed 77-53 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Campbell County Camels (Gillette, WY)

    The Camels now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waconia for a non-league battle on Friday, December 29. Campbell County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 107-97 non-league win over Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-2.

    The Huskies (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Irene/Wakonda was routed by Hanson (Alexandria, SD), 67-24, in a non-league battle.
