Washington High School Basketball - Ferndale can't hold off Cascade

The Cascade Bruins basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Ferndale Golden Eagles to 62 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bruins now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meadowdale for a 2A/3A Wesco contest on Tuesday, January 2. Cascade will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 66-54 non-league loss to Interlake (Bellevue, WA). The Mavericks record now stands at 4-6.

The Golden Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Foster (Tukwila, WA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Foster was nudged by Highline (Burien, WA), 66-56, in a non-league contest.
