Garnet Valley Jaguars (Glen Mills, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Chichester Eagles (Boothwyn, PA), 62-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Garnet Valley upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Henderson (West Chester, PA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Henderson won 53-50 in their recent non-league bout against Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Interboro Buccaneers (Prospect Park, PA) in a Delaware Valley bout, on Thursday, January 4. Chichester will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 65-53 non-league loss to Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA).
