Texas High School Basketball - Conroe knocked off by Westfield

The Westfield Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Conroe Tigers to 38 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benjamin Davis for a 6A Region II District 14 contest on Wednesday, January 3. Westfield will meet a Falcons team coming off a 49-38 non-league win over Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 11-7.
The Tigers (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland (Cleveland, TX). The Indians enter the 6A Region II District 13 contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, Cleveland ran past Splendora (Splendora, TX), 55-40, in a non-league contest.
