The San Diego Vaqueros basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Crockett Cougars to 54 in the Vaqueros non-league victory on Thursday.
The Vaqueros now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East View for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. San Diego will battle a Patriots team coming off a 49-47 non-league win over Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 13-5.
The Cougars (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Laredo LBJ was nudged by East View (Georgetown, TX), 49-47, in a non-league contest.
