The Denfeld Hunters (Duluth, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans (Nashwauk, MN), 96-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hunters (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Bemidji (Bemidji, MN). The Lumberjacks go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Bemidji was trounced by Jamestown (Jamestown, ND), 97-88, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Northland for a A Section 7 test on Tuesday, January 2. Nashwauk-Keewatin will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 71-34 league loss to Chisholm (Chisholm, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
