Nebraska High School Basketball - Dorchester overwhelmed by Lewiston

The Lewiston Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Dorchester Longhorns to 29 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meridian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Lewiston will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 51-32 non-league loss to Diller-Odell (Odell, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-6.

The Longhorns (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sterling (Sterling, NE). The Jets come into the non-league contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Sterling was routed by Pawnee City (Pawnee City, NE), 59-29, in a non-league contest.
