With the victory, East Poinsett County upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Salem (Salem, AR) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Salem lost 62-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Manila (Manila, AR)

Next up, the Lions play the Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Manila will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 48-40 non-league win over Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR).
