North Carolina High School Basketball - Henderson Collegiate can't hold off East Wake Academy

The East Wake Academy Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Henderson Collegiate Pride to 47 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5.

The Pride (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Northwest Halifax was nudged by Vance County (Henderson, NC), 47-34, in a non-league contest.
