The Edmondson-Westside Red Storm (Baltimore, MD) basketball nipped the host Niagara Falls Wolverines (Niagara Falls, NY), 38-35 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Red Storm (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Dunbar (Baltimore, MD). The Poets go into the Baltimore City test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Dunbar got by Kenwood (Baltimore, MD), 61-57, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to McQuaid Jesuit for a Section 5 Rochester City Catholic - Upper test on Wednesday, January 3. Niagara Falls will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 49-44 non-league loss to Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY). The Knights record now stands at 2-4.
