Melissa lost 66-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Boyd (McKinney, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Forney Jackrabbits (Forney, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Ennis will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Jackrabbits come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 53-45 non-league loss to Anna (Anna, TX).
