The Warde Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Fairfield Prep Jesuits to 54 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilton for a Fairfield County contest on Friday, January 5. Warde will battle a Warriors team coming off a 68-53 non-league loss to Hand (Madison, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.

The Jesuits (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Lyman Hall was nudged by Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT), 51-46, in a non-league contest.
