The Farwell Steers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Olton Mustangs to 41 in the Steers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Steers now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Home for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28.

The Mustangs (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Andrews (Andrews, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Andrews was defeated by Littlefield (Littlefield, TX), 66-40, in a non-league contest.
