The Shelby-Rising City Huskies basketball team (Shelby, NE), was overwhelmed 72-37 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Fillmore Central Panthers (Geneva, NE)

The Panthers now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fullerton for a non-league battle on Friday, December 29. Fillmore Central will confront a Warriors team coming off a 53-47 non-league win over Clarkson/Leigh (Clarkson, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 4-5.

The Huskies (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Clarkson/Leigh (Clarkson, NE). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 0-8 record. In their last battle, Clarkson/Leigh was overwhelmed by Fullerton (Fullerton, NE), 53-47, in a non-league battle.
