Indiana High School Basketball - Mitchell nudges Franklin County

December 28, 2023: Mitchell, IN 47446

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN) basketball squad edged the visiting Franklin County Wildcats (Brookville, IN), by a margin of 47-42.

The Bluejackets (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Paoli (Paoli, IN). The Rams go into the Patoka Lake outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Paoli held off Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN), 54-49, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Oldenburg Academy for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 30. Franklin County will clash with a Twisters squad coming off a 70-46 non-league win over Southwestern (Shelbyville, IN). The Twisters record now stands at 3-5.
