The Tri-Valley Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Freeman Academy/Marion to 33 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Vernon/Plankinton for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Tri-Valley will meet a Titans team coming off a 46-43 league win over Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD). The Titans record now stands at 3-0.

The (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD). The Rutland enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland was routed by Arlington (Arlington, SD), 48-39, in a league contest.
