The George Walton Academy Bulldogs tipped the host South Effingham Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 49-42 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Hilton Head Prep Dolphins (Hilton Head Island, SC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 29. George Walton Academy will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Dolphins enter the game with a 8-4 record after their 71-62 non-league loss to King's Ridge Christian (Alpharetta, GA).
With the defeat, South Effingham moves to 0-9 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Effingham County (Springfield, GA) to face the Rebels in a AAAAAA Region 2 game on Friday, January 5. The Rebels enter the game with a record of 4-6.
