With the victory, Glenelg improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to River Hill (Clarksville, MD) to confront the Hawks in a Howard County challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. River Hill won 74-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) in a Montgomery 4A/3A Central challenge, on Friday, January 5. Walter Johnson will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 69-64 non-league win over Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE).
