The J.L. Mann Patriots basketball team (Greenville, SC), was nudged 65-59 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Greer Middle College Blazers (Taylors, SC)
The Blazers now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Newman for a non-league battle on Friday, December 29. Greer Middle College will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 61-43 non-league win over Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-8.
The Patriots (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Thoroughbreds come into the non-league battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, South Aiken edged Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC), 66-59, in a non-league battle.
