Yazoo City Indians (Yazoo City, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Guntersville Wildcats (Guntersville, AL), 55-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Yazoo City upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Baylor (Chattanooga, TN) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Baylor won 89-51 in their recent non-league bout against Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Tanner Rattlers (Tanner, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Guntersville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Rattlers go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 61-52 non-league loss to East Limestone (Athens, AL).
